Linde Workshop Engineersplayacrucialroleinmaintainingandrepairingawiderangeofmaterialhandlingequipment,includingforkliftsandotherheavymachinery.Youwouldbeinvolvedinthemaintenanceandrepairofourextensiverange. Youwouldconductroutinemaintenancechecksandrepairsonmachinerytoensureoptimalperformanceandsafety.
Beinglocatedatoneofourdepots,you’llbringyourexpertisetoservice Lindeforkliftsandotherstate-of-the-artmaterialhandlingequipment,forgingstrongrelationships, anddeliveringexceptionalservice andsupport.Beingan integralpartofinouroperationanddrivingworldclasscustomer service.
Theroleofferstheopportunitytoworkwitha diverserangeofproducts,fromsmallelectricpallettruckstoverynarrowaisleand largeengine-poweredCounterbalancetrucks.As a Workshop Engineer,you’llplayacrucialroleinensuringourcustomersreceivetop-quality Linde forklifttrucks. ThiswouldincludePerformingPre-deliveryinspections,Diagnosingandrectifyingfaults andundertakingpreventativemaintenance.
Weareinterestedincandidateswithexperienceasvehicletechniciansormechanicalengineers,particularlythosewhohaveworkedasforklifttechnicians, plantfitters, planttechnicians,orvehicletechnicians. Experiencewithplantequipment,poweredaccessequipment,agriculturalmachinery,motorvehicles,orindustrialcleanersishighlydesirable,but notsureifyouhavewhatwewant,whynottalktous.
Ideallyyou will have an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification, although this is not essential.
We use the latest technology to keepaccuraterecords and place orders, therefore being comfortable using IT equipment is essential.
You will need to hold a full UK drivinglicence.
As a Lindeengineeryou will need to be comfortable working autonomously and within a team.
